Wool For Wellness

The Mothers’ Union Lichfield Diocese is currently supporting an initiative run by the Farming Community Network (FCN) – a voluntary organisation and charity that supports farmers and families within the farming community through difficult times.

At Berkswich some of our members have been busy knitting warm beanies and bobble hats which are passed on to farmers by FCN.

Each hat has two labels inside: a permanent one giving a helpline number, and a detachable one which says “Knitted with love by a member of Mothers’ Union in the Diocese of Lichfield”
