Mothers’ Union Afternoon Tea

Held on Wednesday 7th August 2024 at St Thomas’ Church, Stafford.

Some pictures of this very successful event. There was a raffle, a bring & buy table and a Mothers’ Union retail shop offering a range of calendars, cards and gifts. The money raised was used to:

  • Support the MU Summer of Hope 2024 Scheme, which will build on years of wonderful work that’s transforming the lives of women and girls in sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Empower women in the Democratic Republic of Congo to release themselves from the cycle of Poverty.

We also plan to use a proportion of money raised to buy goods for local food banks – again helping to create a brighter future for others.
