Here is a photograph of the Berkswich Tree at St. Mary’s Church Stafford, Christmas Tree Festival.
With the exception of the baubles, all the items are crafted by our ladies. We used doves for the “Rise Up” Campaign logo, hats knitted for the Farming Community Network, parcels representing the grocery boxes we have sent to community food banks (including Staffordshire Women’s Aid, and baubles containing MU logos. We also put a supply of leaflets at the base and a “key” explaining what each item represented. I think you will agree it looks lovely.
The festival runs from 4th December 2024 to 10th December 2024.
The St. Mary’s Christmas Tree Festival is growing more spectacular each year! This time, around 100 trees will be adorned by local organisations, shops, businesses, schools, and charities. Each tree will be uniquely decorated to reflect the essence of its decorator, promising a display of highly individual and wonderfully creative trees once again.
Light refreshments will be available from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Throughout the day, local schools and music groups will provide delightful seasonal musical entertainment. With an expected attendance of 5000 to 6000 visitors, come along and enjoy the festive atmosphere with your friends and family.
